Online Admin

MHAS is looking for assistance administering our 'Google G-Suite for Nonprofits' account and website (if you know what G-Suite apps are, you probably have the right kind of skills to help us!). While we use the account for our email and online meetings, I'm sure we are not managing and taking advantage of the many other features available to us.

We also have a 'Flipcause' account for online fundraising campaigns and hosting our website which need administrative assistance too!

If you have some time and technical expertise you'd like to share with an outdoor, nature focused organization like ours we'd love to hear from you...

Food Shelf Volunteer

Due to the nature of serving during the pandemic, we have fewer positions available. We have changed our distribution model to allow for fewer volunteers and social distancing. However, we are especially looking for volunteers who are able to commit to Fridays. We have been closed on Fridays since last year and would love to open our doors again.

Join our wonderful family of volunteers!

We are looking for new volunteers to help out M, W, and F.  We have 3-hour shifts: the morning is 9:00 to 12:15 and the afternoon is from 12:00 to approximately 3:30, though you will generally be out sooner. We can accommodate volunteers with fewer hours to give.

The morning shift is more active and includes weighing and sorting food in the warehouse and getting it out into the store area, then assisting clients with shopping. The afternoon shift is generally focused on assisting clients, however if stocking shelves and cleaning is your thing, please let us know!

We pride ourselves on being a happy and fun place to volunteer. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so that we can plan to welcome you!
