The Someone Special program is celebrated by the United Way of Bemidji Area in partnership with Ken K Thompson Jewelry, KB101 Radio, and The Bemidji Pioneer. For more than 30 years, 500+ special volunteers have been recognized for their outstanding volunteer efforts in the Bemidji area.
The Someone Special Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for organizations, businesses, or groups, to recognize up to two volunteers who have made a difference within the community through volunteering.
Celebrating its 34th year, the program offers Bemidji area’s community organizations and businesses a complimentary way to recognize and show their appreciation for up to two volunteers who have contributed their time and talents to the betterment of the organization.
Promotion for this program runs during the month of June.
