Headwaters Alliance for Suicide Prevention

HASP

Headwaters Alliance for Suicide Prevention (HASP) will be having their Walk for Hope event on Saturday, September 26th.

Formerly known as the Run, Walk, Skate event, A Walk for Hope is a community event dedicated to raising awareness, breaking the stigma and offering support for those affected by suicide. This event is in partnership with Sanford Health, Bemidji State University Alumni & Foundation, and United Way of Bemidji Area, and is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Health Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Grant.

7AM - 8AM - Registration and Check-in at Paul & Babe
8AM - 10AM - Walk (approximately 5k) starts at Paul & Babe and goes through BSU's campus and loops back to the starting point.

This year, HASP's priority population is youth. To help us track youth engagement, you'll find two registration options: Youth Participant and Adult Participant. Bring the young people in your life and join us for the Walk for Hope!

Together we will walk in honor of those we've lost, stand beside those who are struggling, and shine a light of hope for a brighter tomorrow. This walk is more than just the steps we will be taking, it's a movement. Every step of the way helps spark conversations about mental health, share community resources, connections and remind us all that we aren't walking alone. Whether you've been personally impacted, are walking to support someone, or simply want to make a difference, your presence matters!

Register by August 23rd to secure your requested t-shirt size!
