United Way supports area non-profits that support local families in the impact areas of Basic Needs, Health, and Education.

141 CHILDREN
are enrolled in the Imagination Library program that United Way offers to children ages 0-5 years old. Children receive a free book every month until their fifth birthday. This free program has the capacity to accept more applications.

40 HOLIDAY GIFTS
In Partnership with Kinship of the Park Rapids Area, United Way was able to provide Christmas gifts for their clients/youth

VOLUNTEER WEBSITE
United Way hosts Volunteer Heartland Lakes website that allows agencies to post volunteer opportunities, events, and donation needs.

CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION COUNCIL
New in 2024! United Way will allocate grant funding to agencies working on local child abuse prevention programming, using funds raised in the annual Radiothon to End Child Abuse.

BEYOND THE FUNDING
The United Way provides support with problem solving, advocacy, marketing, fundraising, volunteer connections, and strategic services to help our local non-profit partner agencies serve more people. United Way is currently providing free services to Support Within Reach and Hubbard County DAC with website creation and development, logo creation, and marketing.
