Northwoods Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers (NICE) is a volunteer-based organization that provides services for seniors and other special needs individuals and families. Through many dedicated volunteers, NICE provides transportation to medical appointments, shopping assistance, friendly visiting, and respite care for seniors and children. With the help of United Way and so many important caregivers, Northwoods Interfaith enables independent living and ensures to improve the quality of life for those with disabilities or special needs. In addition. Northwoods Interfaith’s First City Visitation Services program offers a positive, safe, child-friendly and neutral site where children and parents can be assured that supervised visitation or exchange will be safe and conflict-free.
