Headwaters Regional Development Commission

The Headwaters Regional Development Commission (HRDC) is a regional planning and development organization that serves local governments, development organizations, community leaders, and others in the five counties of Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, and Mahnomen in north central Minnesota. The Headwaters Science Center (HSC) has multiple openings, both full-time and part-time Docent and museum/center staff.

Work with guests and visitors at HSC and present demonstrations at the Center as well as at schools, library, and other community locations and functions.  

Positions are available immediately. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

Home and Community Services Manager

Goal: The HCB Services Manager is responsible to the Executive Director and is available to assist with various administrative, and program functions as may be required with an emphasis on coordinating HCBS/245D services including supervision/coordination of HCBS providers including homemakers, handypersons, respite providers, and other direct service providers.

Experience: Interest or familiarity working in fields associated with the elderly, those living with a disability, families and children or others in need; experience in working with social service agencies and other community resources.

Skills: Sufficient public relations, administrative, and training skills to work with groups, volunteers, HCBS providers , carereceivers, faith communities, other professionals, and staff. Data entry and basic computer skills a must.

Personal: Sincere desire to serve, with an understanding and respect for various populations in the community, good interpersonal skills, openness and flexibility in working with diverse groups, enthusiasm for working collaboratively on community issues, understanding of community service programs, and direct service providers, willingness to implement the organization’s mission and philosophy.

TIME COMMITMENT: Full time per week position with flexible hours that include occasional evenings. Some travel may be required.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: The position will be paid an hourly wage that will start based on qualifications with a range of $24-$28 per hour. Travel expenses and mileage will be reimbursed. Cell phone stipend available. Employer paid AFLAC available.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, community health, gerontology, business, sociology, psychology) or Associates with equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
