  Advancing the
Common Good

United Way of Bemidji Area is much more than a fundraising organization.  For more than 24 years, United Way has served our community and taken a leadership role in ensuring the lives of those who live here are improved.  With your help, United Way of Bemidji Area Advances the Common Good, creating a meaningful difference in the lives of area children, youth, aging adults and their caregivers, people in crisis and people with mental and physical disabilities by focusing on the building blocks for a good life: Education - helping children, youth and adults achieve their full potential; Income - promoting financial stability, increasing self-sufficiency and  independence; and, Health - improving people’s health and social well-being, and providing emergency services.

Through your investment, United Way is able to i
nvest in nonprofit health and human service programs and services that address the most critical needs and deliver the greatest impact possible; implement community impact initiatives and support year round programs that address new and emerging needs; and, form strategic partnerships and collaborations—sharing responsibility and accountability for delivering meaningful and long-lasting results.

DID YOU KNOW?
99% of all United Way funds are invested in Bemidji area education, income and health initiatives and programs.   1% goes to United Way of America to pay our membership.
