UNITED WAY OF BEMIDJI
THEME: WILD WEST
Tickets are $8.00 in advance, $10 at the door
Wednesday, September 18, 2019
11:00 am -1:00 pm @ The Sanford Center
The chili cook-off kicks off the United Way of Bemidji Area’s fall fundraising campaign for the community and will feature a flavorful variety of 30+ chili recipes prepared by local amateur chefs. This year’s fun theme is the WILD WEST.
Awards will be given in each of five divisions: celebrity, corporation, business, non-profit and restaurant; and in the following categories: best name, best presentation, most creative and overall winner. Attendees will vote using money for the Taster’s Choice award.
Attendees will enjoy all the chili they can sample, dessert from Dairy Queen, and beverages provided by Coca-Cola, Pepsi Nei Bottling.
The chili cook-off is sponsored in part by United Way’s sponsors, Paul Bunyan Communications, Hill’s Plumbing and Heating, the Sanford Center, First National Bank, and Sanford Health, and Amity Graphics.
Mid-September of each year, the Bemidji community gathers at the United Way's Annual Chili Cook-Off to try the various chili available at the event, and to celebrate the kick-off of the Community Campaign.
Your business can be part of the Annual Chili Cook-Off by preparing chili and decorating a booth.
