United Way of Bemidji Area invests an unparalleled array of resources into achieving results around the building blocks for a good life:  education, income and health..  Since 1987, these resources include our special relationships with corporate, non-profit, and government sectors, our credibility and know-how built on decades of experience; our partnerships with hundreds of community agencies; our capacity to engage hundreds of volunteers; our effective participation in advocacy for sensible and humane public policies; and a cadre of generous and committed workplace and individual donors that dedicate hundreds of thousands of dollars to making a difference - right here in our community!

ACCOUNTABLE
Funded programs are screened by community volunteers to ensure your money is well spent and results are delivered.  Also, United Way of Bemidji Area maintains a high standard of accountability by documenting its operations are transparent with United Way of America. These standards must be certified annually in order to remain in the United Way system.
