Someone Special Volunteer Recognition

Entering its 20th year, the Someone Special program is sponsored by the United Way of Bemidji Area, Ken K Thompson Jewelry, KB101 Radio and The Bemidji Pioneer.  The program offers community organizations and businesses a complimentary way to recognize and show their appreciation to up to two volunteers who have contributed their time and talents to the betterment of the organization.  All “Someone Special Volunteers” will be recognized with: a plaque donated from Ken K. Thompson Jewelry, recognition on the KB101 Morning Show with Todd and Mardy on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and an acknowledgement in The Bemidji Pioneer’s Sunday “Living” section

The program will begin accepting recognition applications beginning mid April through May 16, 2011.  Volunteer recognition will run May through July.

Any organization, business or individual may recognize up to two individuals for the complimentary Someone Special Award.
